Ticketlink

TicketLink2 is the next generation fare collection system.

With optional features such as vehicle monitoring, remote download and GPS integration, the TL2 is more than just a ticket machine, it is an asset to fleet management.

With a State-of-the-art TouchScreen Display that allows a driver to read and select the actual names of bus stops and fare types etc.

PC based software enables the operator to configure the TL2 system to suit specific requirements. There is no need to send the unit to Circuitlink for changes. Simply program the “buttons” on the TouchScreen to indicate; required routes, trips, sections, ticket types, journey types and fares - no more hassles with route numbers or tables. Configure up to 64 ticket types including special fares. Each ticket type can be priced by three methods, including section, distance and point to point. Individual routes on the same system can use any of these methods. The TL2 can also be configured in any language.

By using Non-Volatile Flash memory, the TL2 can store sales data for several months before old data is overwritten. Data is safe even if power is removed from the unit during operation.

When Data is downloaded from the TL2 it is copied, which means it remains in the unit’s memory, eliminating loss or corruption and providing an original backup. Several methods of downloading Data are available including;

  • DSM, allowing transfer of data from the unit to a PC.
  • Cable, direct download to a Laptop or PC
  • Radio downloading, using the optional RF module

Reports

A number of on-board reports are available including; “Inspectors” indicating the number of passengers on a bus, “Close Route” and “Close Machine” reports that can show tickets sold and cash taken. Downloaded sales data is stored in a Microsoft AccessTM database allowing the operator to create unique reports in addition to the standard reports that are supplied.

GPS Integration
By incorporating the GPS module, each section on a route can be logged, allowing the TL2 to update its location automatically. This means TL2 can adjust fares according to it’s position along the route.

Vehicle Monitoring
By enabling the optional Tacholink Blackbox functionality, the TL2 can monitor and record various vehicle and driver data, including:

  • Vehicle Speed
  • Operating Hours
  • Timetable compliance
  • Location, etc.
  • Other inputs such as;
  • Foot Brake
  • School Lights
  • Doors, etc.
