Tacholink Black Box is an on board computer specifically designed as a data logger.

The Black Box may be used for monitoring fleet management,vehicle efficiency and driver behavior. The Black Box can also be used in compliance with OHS and government regulations as well as protection against traffic infringements and litigation etc.

The Black Box receords data in a non-volatile flash memory. This data can be downloaded to a PC for storage and analysis. Software provided enables multiple reports and vehicle / driver management. 

Data recorded may include:

  • vehicle speed
  • engine RPM
  • idle time
  • start time
  • finish time
  • engine hours
  • driving hours
  • heavy braking
  • fast accelertation
  • driver identification
  • vehicle odometer
  • distance travelled
